Deleting WinPower from a Computer

To delete WinPower from a computer, follow these steps.
If your Desktop has the "My Computer Icon"

Double click "My Computer" |

2. |
Double click "C:\" or "Local Disk (C:\)" -- anything that has c:\ in it. |

3. |
Single click the 2M folder. |
|
4. |
Hit the delete key to send the folder to the recycle bin, or hit Shift-Delete to delete permanently |

5. | Look for – and delete – the four files that have Assignment Codes associated with any buildings you may have had. | |
For example, if
the school you wish to delete has an assignment code of M999, then look for: M9998 M999P M999S M999V One at a time, delete them all. (Single click each one, then hit delete to send to the recycle bin [Click "Yes"] or hit Shift Delete to delete them permanently). |
If your Desktop DOES NOT have the "My Computer Icon"

Click "Start" |

Click "Run" |
|
3. |
Key in "C:\" |
|
4. |
Hit "Enter". on your keyboard. |
|
5. |
Single click the 2M folder. |
|
6. |
Hit the Delete key to send the folder to the recycle bin, or hit Shift-Delete to delete permanently. |

7. | Look for – and delete – the four files that have Assignment Codes associated with any buildings you may have had. | |
For example, if
the school you wish to delete has an assignment code of M999, then look for: |
Remember to "Empty" the recycle bin. Otherwise, the next user will be able to recover these files....
